Released into the human world in the months leading to Christmas the spirited and mischievous Winter Sprites float, fly and flit from person to place; investigating and exploring as they go and spreading festive cheer, quips and yarns of winter lands and stories galore.
This a strolling/walkabout street theatre show consisting of 2 puppeteers operating bunraku style puppets – the puppeteers are visible, veiled & are behind the puppets animating their movements, giving them a voice, and making them fly, flit and leap around the performance area. The puppets are approx. 3ft tall, costumed in glistening, icy colours and illuminated with led lights. They are accompanied by a magical winter soundscape.
3 x 30 or 2 x 45 minute sets – event dependant.
Parking and clean, secure changing space with table and two chairs required.
For busy events a steward will need to be provided
