FAQ

Why are there no prices on the website?

There’s no such thing as a standard event. Available budget, show lengths/times, geographical location and themes all vary. We prefer to discuss your requirements individually and supply the most suitable performers, at the right price for your budget. Contact us

What type of entertainment would work best for my event?

It depends on the type of venue, likely attendance and the sort of impact you want to make. With some basic details we can offer a range of suggestions. For example: Is the event indoors or out? Daytime or evening? Family or adult orientated? Seated or free standing? Is there space available for a fixed performance area? Contact us

I can’t see what I want on your web site, can you help?

The Larger Than Life web site shows only a selection of what we can offer. If you can’t see what you want or are looking for a particular performer we may still be able to help. Contact us

Are the performers insured?

All of our performers have full public liability insurance. We can also provide risk assessments to cover most types of performance.

What should we provide for the performers?

Performers may need allocated parking and most acts need a room/space for changing, applying make-up and leaving props.

Are there special requirements for fire shows?

You need approval from your venue to stage a fire performance. If the performance is inside then the local fire officer may need to visit. In bad weather conditions the performer may decide not to go ahead with a fire show if it’s judged to be dangerous. Ultra violet or glow juggling shows are a good alternative to fire especially for indoor events. We can advise you on the space and ceiling height requirements for fixed shows.

What happens after I book?

Larger Than Life will send you a contract for signature. When this is returned to us, provisional bookings with artistes will be confirmed and an invoice will be sent to you. Invoices for new clients are payable before the event and for regular clients we ask for payment within 30 days of the event.
