Dress Circle is a truly unique street theatre act. An enormous woman with sumptuously brocaded child-bearing hips glides around event grounds effortlessly as if propelled from beneath. She shares social tittle-tattle with the audience as she careers between them.
When at last she chooses her spot to stop, the orchestra from beneath her petticoats tunes up and with great aplomb, her skirts open to reveal a full theatre and a series of theatrical surprises.
An enchanting line up of short vaudeville and circus acts, amusingly compered by the great lady herself with plenty of audience participation.
2 x 45 minute shows, event dependent.
The Dress is 2 metres wide and 4 metres high.
Set-up time 3 hours, vehicle access to site must be available.
The dress cannot be moved between sites but can be wheeled a short distance.
Parking required for 1 x Ford Transit Van.
Accommodation required for any performance over 50 miles from London and starting before midday.
If performing the act over consecutive days a secure night storage space will be required.
A clean, secure and private changing area with access to a WC and if possible a mirror.
